Post 593 Flag Program
Are you proud to be an American? Do you believe in the American Flag and what it stands for? Do you proudly fly the American Flag at least on some significant Holidays? If you answered no to the first two questions, we can’t help you and you probably shouldn’t belong to the American Legion. If you answered no to the last question, then I think we can help each other. For a $25.00 yearly donation, volunteers from our Post will come to your home and install a 3X5 foot American Flag on a 10 foot aluminum staff in your front yard at approximately dawn and retrieve it at dusk on the following six holidays:
You do not have to be a member of the American Legion to subscribe. Can you picture your street with an American Flag flying in each yard? Together, we can make it happen! Be the first on your block to subscribe. Just fill out the subscription form below and mail it to: American Legion Post 593 Attn: Flag Program 326 W Legion Drive Converse TX 78109 along with your check or money order for $25.00. Of course, you can drop it off in person and meet some old friends in the process.
